• November 2023 - I attended the Workshop on Restless Bandits, Index Policies, and Applications in Reinforcement Learning, held in Grenoble. My presentation, titled 'Risk-Averse Multiarmed Bandit Problem with Switching Penalties,' contributed to the vibrant discussions on topics like restless bandits, indexability, and decomposition methods in MDPs. This workshop was a remarkable opportunity to engage with the community working on the cutting-edge of restless bandits and their applications in learning, offering a platform to delve into complex issues such as weakly-coupled MDPs and mean field control. • August 2023 - My recent paper, "Index Policy for Multiarmed Bandit Problem with Dynamic Risk Measures," co-authored with Ozlem Cavus, has been published in the European Journal of Operational Research. This study takes a novel approach to the multiarmed bandit problem, considering risk-averse decision-makers rather than the traditional risk-neutral assumption. By introducing dynamic coherent risk measures into the decision-making process, we propose a priority-index policy that adapts to various levels of risk aversion. • October 2022 - I started an exciting new chapter of my academic journey, joining Christos Dimitrakakis' research group as a Postdoctoral Researcher.

• August 2021 - I proudly achieved a significant milestone in my academic career, earning my Ph.D. from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey.
